This Privacy Policy explains how Flysoft Systems GmbH (“Flysoft”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Flysoft Driver mobile application and related services available at driver.flysoft.restaurant and driver.flysoft.dev (together, the “Service”). The Flysoft Driver mobile application is a lightweight wrapper that displays the Flysoft Driver progressive web application (PWA) within a WebView. The Service provides drivers with route handling and stop management functionality and may expand with additional capabilities in the future. The Service requires an active internet connection to function, as content and functionality are delivered through the embedded web application.

We use your information to provide and improve the Service. By using the Flysoft Driver app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Consent

By using the Flysoft Driver app, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time by discontinuing use of the App.

Information We Collect

We collect limited information for various purposes to provide and improve our service to you.
Personal Identifiable Information
The Flysoft Driver app does not include sign-in or account creation. We do not collect your name, email address, or other personal identifiable information.
Location Data
When you actively use the App or the embedded PWA and start a route, access to your precise location is requested to determine your starting point and enable navigation features. Location access is used only while the App or PWA is in active use. Background location tracking is not performed.
Camera Data
The App may request access to your device camera to scan QR codes for adding or validating route stops within the PWA. Only the decoded QR code content is processed. Raw camera images or video are not stored or transmitted.
Device and Usage Data
We may process limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, WebView version, app version, and crash or error logs. This information is used solely to maintain stability, security, and reliability of the App and the embedded PWA.
Information from Third Parties
Flysoft Driver does not store, log, or retain address search queries, validated addresses, location lookups, or optimized routes on its own servers. All such data remains on the user’s device.
When the App or PWA sends requests to HERE or Nominatim APIs, limited data such as address input or location coordinates may be transmitted to those providers solely to return search, validation, or routing results. These third-party providers may process and retain such data in accordance with their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
Flysoft Driver does not control and is not responsible for the data retention practices of third-party API providers. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of HERE Technologies and Nominatim for further information.

Media and Reservation Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information processed by the App or PWA is not shared with third parties, except for limited technical data processed by trusted service providers involved in providing geocoding and routing functionality for the Service. Any collection, processing, or storage of such information by these third parties is governed by their own privacy policies and legal obligations. Flysoft does not store this data on Flysoft-controlled servers.

How Do We Use Your Information?

We use the information processed by the App and PWA to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain route planning and stop management features
  • Determine your starting location and enable navigation
  • Add, validate, and manage route stops, including via QR code scanning
  • Monitor performance, diagnose technical issues, and improve reliability
  • Protect against misuse, fraud, and security incidents

Data Retention

All operational data generated while using the App or PWA, including routes, stops, and scanned QR code results, is stored locally on the user’s device or browser storage. Flysoft does not store this data on Flysoft-controlled servers. Users can delete locally stored data at any time by clearing app or browser data or uninstalling the App.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us immediately and we will promptly remove such information from our records.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date and making the revised Policy available through the App, the PWA, or our official channels. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
